When Prestwick Airport needed a purpose-built modular structure delivered to a live operational site, Aroha Escapes designed, fabricated, and installed a six-module building from our Ayrshire workshop, completing the full project in just twelve weeks.
Prestwick Airport required a robust, fit-for-purpose modular building installed within their operational environment. The structure needed to arrive site-ready, with minimal disruptionto the surrounding site and a fast turnaround from brief to handover.

Workshop logistics
Six modules across two phases meant tight sequencing, with every unit fully built, weatherproofed, and crane-ready before leaving Ayrshire.
Live airport environment
Working on an active airport required strict access controls and advance planning for every delivery, lift, and ground movement.
Site ground conditions
Challenging subsurface conditions required careful foundation preparation and precise levelling before any modules could be positioned.
Crane-lift coordination
Two separate heavy lifts demanded exact positioning, full transit protection, and a coordinated ground team throughout.
Module alignment across two deliveries
Every panel and fixing point was marked and labelled in the workshop to guarantee seamless alignment on site.
The Solution
All six modules were designed, fabricated, and finished in-house at our Ayrshire workshop, transported to Prestwick in two deliveries, craned into position, and secured onto a pre-prepared concrete pad. Internal finishing was completed on site, with handover achieved within the twelve-week programme.
The Result
Six modules, two deliveries, twelve weeks. Built entirely in-house and installed on a live airport site, the Prestwick project demonstrates Aroha Escapes’ ability to deliver complex modular builds to exacting standards in the most demanding environments.
